The four elven races reign supreme. The High Elves, with their keen intellect and natural magical abilities, rule over the world's cities and libraries. The Wood Elves are expert hunters and guardians of the world's forests, living in harmony with the natural world. The Dark Elves, shrouded in secrecy and magic, are feared and revered for their powerful sorcery and shadowy ways. Finally, the Colony Elves, a diluted race born of the intermingling of the other three, struggle to find their place in the world, often serving as laborers or mercenaries. Each race has their own unique armor, crafted from the materials found in their respective territories. High Elves, with their love of beauty and grace, prefer lightweight, intricate armor made from mythril. Wood Elves, on the other hand, opt for practicality, crafting their armor from leather and wood. Dark Elves, with their love of the sinister, create armor from obsidian and bone. Colony Elves are known for their sturdy, practical armor, often made from iron or steel. As players venture out into the world, they will encounter a variety of NPCs, each with their own backstory and quest. However, players are not bound to follow these quests, as they have the ability to kill any NPC they come across. If they choose to do so, the quest the NPC was offering will be lost forever. However, for those skilled in the art of necromancy, it is possible to revive NPCs, though there is a 50/50 chance that the quest will not be offered again. Players choose from one of 12 classes, each with their own unique abilities and skills. Paladins are holy warriors, using their faith to heal and protect their allies. Chronomancers manipulate time and space to gain the upper hand in battle. Necromancers harness the power of death and decay to control the undead. Clerics use their divine powers to heal and harm. Blacksmiths craft weapons and armor for their allies. Squires are noble warriors in training, seeking to prove themselves. Knights are master warriors, wielding swords and shields with deadly precision. Wizards are masters of the arcane, conjuring devastating spells. Druids are in tune with the natural world, calling upon the elements to aid them. Summoners summon powerful creatures to do their bidding. Scholars are masters of knowledge, using their intellect to gain an advantage. Finally, Rangers are experts in survival and combat, skilled in both ranged and melee combat. Guilds are an important aspect of the game, allowing players to band together to complete quests and overcome challenges. There are eight different types of guilds, each with their own specific tasks. Adventurers seek out dangerous quests and explore new territories. Caravans transport goods and resources across the land. Militias protect settlements from outside threats. Hunters gather food and resources from the land. Builders construct new settlements and buildings. Gatherers collect herbs, minerals, and other valuable resources. Miners extract precious metals and minerals from the earth. Finally, Cooks prepare delicious meals for their guildmates. As guilds grow in size and strength, they have the ability to form settlements and upgrade them to towns. With this newfound power, guilds can establish businesses such as smithies, taverns, breweries, and tanneries. Players are also able to participate in a player-based economy, with guilds assigned specific tasks to gather and trade resources. However, players must also be mindful of their reputation. Each player has a like and dislike system, which is affected by their actions in the world. If a player's dislike rating falls too low, they will become an outcast, unable to join any guilds. However, they do have the option to join the bandits guild.
